Hi all.

I'm hoping someone can help me. Every so often my car goes into limp home mode and flashes up with Transmission Failiure and DSC fail. When I turn the car off and restart it it then clears and I can drive as normal.
The car is a 2010 with 120k and I'm unsure if it has ever had a gearbox service. I'm going to pressume it hasnt. I have the codes which I will add them below.
Im wondering if anyone has had these codes before? Is my gearbox toast because it drives perfectly apart from the odd time it does this.
Could a service sort this out or am I wasting my money and just invest in a reconditioned box??

Codes are :
420021 & 420022
Electronic pressure control valve B
Short circuit to positive
Intermittent

420531
Power supply output stage
Short circuit to positive
Permanent

Find an independent gearbox specialist and ask their opinion

Even if they charge £100 to have a look and do their own full diagnostics, it will almost certainly be money well spent.
