Can a X5 multi-comfort seat fit into a 2014 F10?

I am looking to seriously purchase a 2014 535D F10 M- Sport, but it comes with regular seats; heated but with just a few adjustments. I have a diesel X5 2015 with multi-contour adjustments.

Can i swap them out?

Do you really think anyone here has actually done this and thus has factual advice to bestow?

Seems incredibly unlikely.

1. Check realOEM or getbmwparts or other sources to look at part numbers to see if they are the same/related

2. Get inside both vehicles with a tape measure to see if the brackets would line up properly. Look for any lumps and bumps in the transmission tunnel and floor that might affect how the seat fits. Compare the various plugs on the wiring harnesses.

3. Find a someone with the car you want who is willing to spend a couple hours with you test fitting your seats into it.

Just checked real oem dot com and the frames and the cover both match. The part numbers are different bit i am going to assume it's because they are different models. However, the rails, bottom covers, and seat back frame are identical. Now time for the rest, cable connectors, airbag sensors, and where the seatbelt connections are.

Sounds like an awesome idea.

I wish I can fit that seat in a 3 series. Wonder if there is someone on the x5 forum who is near you and willing g to try.

it'll be interesting to see if you can make this work without throwing any error codes or losing any functions of your seats? i ask because i've never seen any post a thread on this for the time i've been on here or have i run across a thread about swapping seats.

so are you planning on throwing your F10 seats into the X5?

If the connectors are the same, I don't see how I would get any error messages. As for the base and the plastics, they are all the same.

I hate regular seats they are painful to sit in for long rides.

Must be different body shapes. I've sat in the base seats for 13 driving hours (5+ hours at a time) and been comfortable the whole time. I'm still getting used to (finding the perfect adjustment) the multi-contour seats in my '14 as the longest I've driven is a couple of hours.
