The nicest car BMW makes right now is the 6-series GC. I love the looks of that car, looking forward to the M6 GC.

I recently drove a M6 and it's just amazing how brutal that car is. I love it's Jekyll and Hyde personality between std and the M2 button... It's just so much more brutal than the previous generation M3 and M5's I have driven. I love that engine and I'm totally supporting the turbo engine decision. Hopefully my next car will be a F10 M5.

I moved from the F10 (550i) to the 650iGC for the same reason. F10 has so many cheaper models that diluted the prestige image. I meant, with the 3er getting more expensive, a lot of the traditional buyers of the 3-series are buying F10 now......

So F10 has 520i/523i/528i/535i/550i/M5, just counting petrol. And in this neck of the woods, the 328i is more expensive than the 523i (and even in some cases 528i). And all of them can be easily adapted to look like a M5.

But the F06 only has 640i/650i. So a lot less dilution. And most people will consider the F10 M5 before shelling out similar amount of money for the 650i GC.

So go for it! But be warned. If you want people to notice you are driving a M6 GC instead of us driving lesser variants, the M6 does not look drastically different than a 6GC with M Sport.

For me, I debadged my 650i GC so that people think I am a poser and will not race with me But I routinely go smoke the CLS

PS. You may think twice going to M6 GC as there is already M6 conversion even before the M6 GC is out And from the looks of it, probably easier than converting a F10 to F10 M5

BMW are expensive cars, if you have one enjoy it no matter if it is a 128i or a M5.

BTW, my stock black msport rear diffuser is dark grey. I too wish they did a little more to distinguish my rear as they did the front. Sure the reflectors are higher, but is that enough?

I'm not the mod police as I believe in if it's your car you should be able to do whatever makes you happy! Your money your car! My car is not an Msport but I am putting an Msport rear bumper, Msport side skirts because it's my car! I enjoy seeing people modify their 5 series to an M5 look...why? Cause I'm a car enthusiast. So if you ask me I think your fine...but to the mod police you're gonna get an ear full!
