535xi Catless Downpipe Rasp... Help

I just installed my vrsf catless downpipe and I hate the sound of my exhaust now. I have a muffler delete, and now it’s raspy and extra loud. What can I do get rid of the rasp and get the deep smooth tone back? I was thinking getting a aftermarket exhaust system or m5 mufflers would help.

You could get some Vibrant resonators http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...1022_1033_1054

and or get some M5/M6 mufflers. I think the Vibrant resonators 1790 and 1791 are the ones that have the same inlet/outlet as our cars. AR Design has a resonated catless dp which as the name implies is catless but has a integrated small resonator to tame the rasp of the exhaust. Just some options.

Yea the vibrant resonators should remove the rasp. Many have had great success with them.

Should I replace the stock resonators or just add the Vibrant Resonators with it?

Im not an expert but if the car sounds too loud and drone even with the stock resonators then add the Vibrant resonators. If your car doesn't have any resonators on then install only the Vibrant ones. I have read on other posts in this forum that the Vibrant resonators works as advertised and eliminates or reduces drastically drone and lower sound considerably.

Hopefully it works. The catless dp pretty much made the car sound like a honda. Me having a muffler delete made it even worse.

You should get a pair of M5/M6 mufflers to have a nice sport oem sound and install the stock resonators too. I have the competition ones and they sound just perfect. I currently dont have a dp but I doubt it will make my ride sound too harsh.

Interested about replacing the stock resonators. Has anyone here done it?

I’m running a catless DP, stock mid section and MPE mufflers. Car sounds great under WOT but has a bit of a drone in daily driving
