DME tune issue
I have a DME tune on my 2015 650i GC N63tu engine, (35000 miles on it). It seems to pull well on the cooler days, but I can sometimes feel a stumble or backing off of the power in certain RPM ranges. It's most notable under part throttle. At WOT it feels okay, but I think the stumble is just getting a little masked by the thrust. On hot days in AZ it's super noticeable. No codes are showing or could be extracted by a Carly, (not an ideal diagnostic tool). If I'm perfectly honest with myself, the car seemed a little down on power even before the tune. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could begin to diagnose this condition? Also, there's no other mods on the car, removed carbon filters, added the tune is all. Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Can you get logs from your car? The heat we have in AZ will make it pull timing and you will lose some power, but it shouldn't be a tremendous amount.

Wouldn't injectors or coils throw codes?

Sometimes it won't throw codes unless it's completely out. I would suggest ngk 97506 and gap them suckers to 21 22.

What tune are you running? I agree you need to log it and start troubleshooting from there. Depending on your tuner, they should also be able to look at your logs to see if anything looks out of line. I'm running the BM3 S2 and the first map I ran was somewhat jittery in higher rpms, but the new version of it is very smooth, so it could also be the tune since all cars don't respond the same.

The tune is from BPC and so far they haven't been much help. I'm on travel for a couple of weeks and then will get some logs posted and start troubleshooting.
