One month old tire bites the dust
On about February 26 I had the front tires replaced on my 535i. The Goodyear Excellence tires. One had a sidewall bubble, the other's sidewall was literally ripped apart by pothole. Those tires I replaced were one year old.
Now here it is, one month later... the new right front tire already has a sidewall bubble on it. Insane. This time, I'm going through the warranty process. At least Goodyear puts a Road Hazzard warranty on these tires. But it still sucks I have to deal with it again after just one month. I swear they must be making these tires out of glass and glue or something. The closest Goodyear Centers to me are either a Sears Auto Center or a Discount Tire Center. Which do you guys think I should deal with? Or it's almost time for the annual maintenance on the car. Maybe I should just have my dealer handle the situation. I normally avoid the dealer, but I'll need to be going there anyway. |

The dealer should be able to handle the replacement under warranty. It will take a while to get the refund. It took me 4 months to receive a check for $386 on a bubbled 19" tire that was worn by 2/32. You can call Goodyear customer service and get relief.
