you can see how close those QTP EVC motors are to the spare wheel well



now a few issues the installer encountered was the exhaust hanger closest inward was too long. i figured since it was from a 550i that's probably why? he did have to cut off about 1.5" and than rewelded a washer on the end so it wouldn't slip off the rubber hanger. also, he couldn't get the tips to line up at the end of diffuser nor could he get in completely centered between the diffuser openings due to the QTP EVC motor was already about 1/4" from hitting what looks like the spare wheel mold? i can live with it since i did take a chance on making this fit but i don't think it looks bad at all? he did say but for another day was he could extend the tips out using a TIG welder for $125 for all 4 tips and he said he could run new piping all the way back from the DP to where he made the new cut. so that would completely eliminate the X-Pipe for $90 TIG welded as well. so i'mma think about it.

working on getting the side skirts back on with the carbon fiber skirt extensions! the Paint dude did an excellent job!

here you can see just self tapping screws holding it in. like i mentioned before fitment was on point!

currently working on getting the inside tips painted gloss black! i'll show you guys what it looks like with the T-Bolt clamps and the carbon slip covers after it's dry

here i modified the covers to actually be flush with the tips which i basically took a jig and cut around evenly than followed it up with some sand paper to make it all smooth again



i still need to wire up the Wireless QTP remotes, modules and IWIRE since i didn't get these when i picked them up. install doesn't look too complicated.


as far as how it sounds...pretty effing ridiculous! it sounds pretty deep and low and when you get on it she screams and has a nice exotic rasp to it. what's great...no DRONE! the wife thought it was going to be annoyingly loud but after hearing it she actually loves the sound of it. i will have to get some audio clips or a YouTube clip of the tone. tell me what you guys think?!

i got lucky with my house as the wife and i bought this in December in the middle of winter where out here in Ohio nobody buys houses in the winter. most people start house shopping around Springtime. so we had a pretty good selection of homes to choose from as we were the only bidders on this house which is 4400 sq ft on 1/2 acre lot. it was listed for $360k and we got it down to $299k. the owner's were already moved out and in Cali and basically left the house in the real estate agent's hands.

still working on the upgrades around the house but pretty much the crown moulding, door casings, baseboards and fireplace mantles are all complete. working on finishing up re-staining alot of the dining table, chairs, hutch and masterbedroom furniture! we did have to buy new kitchen appliances. bought the new Fridgidaire Gallery series from Lowe's. LOL never had so much yard before so learning how to mow wasn't the funnest day as it took a good 4 hours to do






if anything what sold me was the 3 car garage!


but here's some pictures of the crown moulding, casings and the mantle i built for the fire place.




the re-staining was tedious as you have to pretty much scuff up or sand down a bit for the new stain to work but it turned out pretty well

coworker of mine has a home like this (3800 sqft) on a 10k sqft corner lot in Los Altos, CA, the General Manager of the SJ sharks is his neighbor.

He built the house 17 years ago, for 1m.

Today its worth 4m.

So yea it would easily be $$$ in the bay area...

exhaust cutouts are already part of the EVC so as you can see they are open. i just have to wire up the modules and IWIRE so i can wirelessly open and close the valves

Exhaust looks and sound nice. I really like the CF diffuser, on my list of things-to-do I just wish someone made one for the dual exhaust native to the 535i though.

The planar distortion on the (aftermarket I'm assuming) rear bumper coupled with the dull paint finish is a real kick in the balls though.

not painted...i like how the red reflectors flow with the tails on JetBlack! any other color i can see where painted reflectors is a must

Good choice on non painted reflectors! Are you planning on a PDC retrofit, or still just using them to fill holes?

just to fill in the holes. i looked into the retrofit and it's pretty expensive lol! reflectors are coming from Europe and i ordered them July 7th but still have received any info if their actually here in the US? they still show in transit
i did receive the PDC holders from TurnerMotorsports the other week and now i'm just waiting for the PDC's themselves to show up from shipping

You should cut off the excess bolt so the clamps look cleaner.. Car is looking really good man.

busy day today!

gettin' the wheels ready to paint the inner barrels satin black since i couldn't for over the $300 at the time i had the wheels done so they were just silver.



so i took some cardboard and cut out some circles to cover the back face's of the wheel so it doesn't get paint and overspray on them


put down a couple of coats of primer


first light coat of satin black


5 coats later



4 coats of satin clear


while i was waiting for the clear to dry these showed up from UPS!
