PDC's finally came in and they fit perfectly in the PDC Holder

While I agree there may be too much going on and there is a point that too many mods take away from a luxury car.

Its his car, his money, and his build. There are people in this thread that like it, so they now have an example to work towards.

I've been in the car scene since the 90's and I've always been modifying my car's and trucks since. It's what i like to do and i enjoy it! I also enjoy watching people here modifying their F10's and posting their pictures! Whether it's just putting a spoiler on or a new front lip or even something simple like window tint. I appreciate the fact they love to mod their car and make it their very own. Just like mine...i modify it to my liking and not anybody else's which is why it's funny when people say to keep it clean! Why? everyone has their taste whether its clean and simple, moderate mods or extreme mods. I think my car sits in the moderate mods as to me extreme mods would be going all out with wide bodies/airbags/roll cages and full interior upgrades.

Also, the F10 is a sporty, luxury car so i don't think adding too many mods will take the luxury away from it

I appreciate the effort that you put into your car and the contributions you make to the forum. For me, and I quoted, the splitters are too much. Just my 2 cents.

I love it too! I think because i did the splitters all the way around it compliments each other. I've gotten some pretty good praise around where i live especially the Corvette guys! Not too many BMW's near me. I'm pretty much done with the exterior. Now i gotta start working on performance and the crappy hifi system. I'm off tomorrow so I'll get to finish painting the calipers gold and finally slapping my 21" Alpha's back on! I really can't wait to see what it'll look like

so i started working on getting the QTP Wireless module installed. unfortunately after i got everything hooked up i can hear the module turning on but the motors themselves aren't opening and closing the valves. so i'll have to order some new motors



i was able to run the intermediate wires through this plug


so next i started working on the calipers!

I actually thought the process was pretty easy. Cleaning was pretty straight forward. And i really thought using the brush was going to be an issue but it actually worked out well as i was able to get into the nooks and crannies. I only applied 2 coats which i had plenty of leftover where if i wanted to could've done the hubs but i didn't want too much gold going on. I ended up removing the M/// stickers as it looked cool but for some reason i couldn't love it

So i ordered the Lake Country backing plate and 5.5" pads yellow, green and white. Even tho the paint correction is completed i like to be prepared for next time

i think the calipers stand out big time! so glad i chose gold instead of black! i thought it would take away from the wheels but in fact compliments the wheels



also i trim down the diffuser tray as it would scrape every time i pull out of my drive way

so tomorrow i'll remove the 535i badge and work on wrapping the door trim with carbon fiber vinyl. oh, i forgot i also got the PDC sensors installed! no more holes
