Man I miss BMW of Morristown parts so much. They always had the best prices and I never had an issue. I ordered my iCOM from them and thousands in CIC parts. About a year ago they took their parts website down. I am going to call them tomorrow and see if they have one in stock and I will make the three hour round trip for it.
Might be a ways away for you, but the parts dept at BMW of Manhattan is great and Armando gives us wholesale prices for forum members. He usually price matches lowest price for OEM parts (unfortunately has to be branded BMW, not OE manufacturer) but price also includes delivery in the area.

If he can mail me parts I will start using him for my CIC kit parts. I ran out of options and recently started using BMW of South Atlanta. They have been hit or miss.

I finished my OFH and took it for a drive to the gas station. The car was starting to overheat reaching the dead center of the oil temp gauge. I sat there for a while and heard a shit ton of air come out the expansion tank. Once cooled down I make it back home were I found out my easy fill coolant funnel has an attachment for BMW.

Tonight I need to put the CIC gear back in the car to flash my ZGW from CIC to NBT. That is the cause of my issues with car functions on the NBT Evo. My $40 NBT screen also arrived.

Did you also activate the electronic water pump to bleed/purge the coolant system?

With ISTA? No, I tried to do the E90 method of coolant bleeding on the F10 and it did not work.

That should have worked. Sometimes you don't hear it right away. Good thing you are going old school with the procedure.

I got my interior mostly back together and I put 20 miles on the car today. I need a ZGW2 for the NBT Evo to fully work with the car.

I did the M-Sport front end swap from Kies Motorsports, came with everything you need at a pretty reasonable price and the fit and finish is literally perfect.

If you can afford to go coilovers do it, if not most of the springs out there are pretty similar, provided your stock dampers are young and healthy. My car had super low miles and lived in Florida all its life so I went with H&R springs and I'm very happy.

My car is at the dealer and it passed emission and inspection. Sadly my vanos bolt heads did not drop and I will not get a free oil pan gasket. The front axles are throwing grease everywhere and the dealer wanted $1600 for new CV boots. I spent $675 on rock auto for both new axles and front diff fluid. My 6WA cluster comes in today. I got a call from FCP on Monday and they said that they are going to reimburse me for my OFH.

I rang up kies about their M sport front bumper kit since my front bumper is shot and it turns out it drop ships from California. I bet it is the same bumper on eBay that is priced $200 cheaper. I don't know why people buy from kies. They are not a retailer, they are just drop shippers that add zero value for the markup they charge.

But don't really want to roll dice on $600 for them. As it doesn't bother me that much. Car still performs very well.
The shop that was selling the car ran it out of gas and clogged injectors 1 and 2. The PO footed the bill for two new injectors and I think doing the other four now is worth the extra $400. I am not sure if he coded in the two new ones so I hope I can see the numbers of the two new ones while still in the engine.

I looked in the oil cap of my engine before I bought it looked clean. I Just snapped a photo and I can kinda see some sludge with a closer look.

Looks very clean. Sadly the that upper ledge on mine is all black... PO did long oil changes I assume

I did both front axles, polished my windshield and put on a windshield coating. What a dirty job but it was worth it for the cost savings.

This week I want to get an alignment, do driveline fluids, finish my NBT Evo and get a quote to have my front bumper resprayed.

The windshield coating was a demo kit of glassparency that I got a while back. I scrubbed my windshield with their cleaner before hand but after I put the coating on I noticed some hard water spots on the far passenger side of the glass.

I used this product to polish scratches out of my windshield: https://www.amazon.com/Polishing-Gor...MED8HJERYM3553

It takes a while but it took out two wiper marks on my F10 and one pretty deep one on my E90. You mix the powder in a slurry and you use a corded drill to slowly polish the glass. My dream is to get a $1500 climate comfort windshield with HUD and KAFAS support but I don't know if I will ever justify that. Currently my windshield is now in excellent condition.

I went to the body shop today and they told me it is not worth it fixing my factory bumper. I called Kies to see if I could local pickup there m sport front bumper kit and it turns out they drop ship from CA (ie it is just a marked up eBay bumper). So instead of overpaying for their bumper I just went ahead and got the bumper direct from eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/PreLCI-F10-...72.m2749.l2649

Body shop said it would be about $350 to paint it which is pretty good for a OEM quality proper paint job.

I replaced my transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, windshield cowl and blower motor. I thought the rattle was the motor itself and not that outer filter that deteriorates into the motor. I ordered a new outer filter as well as a new cabin air filter that should be here next week. The old transmission and transfer case fluid looked great at almost 100k miles. I highly recommend doing drive line fluids if you are keeping your car long term. I took the car on a two hour trip into South Jersey this weekend and it performed great. The only issue is that the seat cause my back to hurt after a while. I am not sure how to properly adjust the lumbar for my back. I also noticed that the OEM pads really dirty the wheels. I am so use to ceramic low dust brake pads that I will probably swap in soon.

Last night I replaced my truck shocks and dyed some of the worn bits of my interior. I put a bit too much dye on the driver's side center console but overall it turned out great! Beats buying a new door card and center console lid. I used this kit from eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-OYSTER-...72.m2749.l2649

As for the trunk shocks the only side that has a shock is the passenger side. I bought both sides aftermarket on eBay for $30 and they work pretty good. At least my trunk does not slam open anymore.

It is dry to the touch is about 10-15 minutes. If I were to do it again I would have used the smallest amount to help keep the grain of the leather. I mean you need like a few drops of the dye on the included brush.

Today I replaced my interior door handle trim with the new eBay unit and it looks amazing. The eBay trunk shocks are junk and I am going to get OEM ones eventually.

I still need to fix my dash cam install and my rear sun shade.
