That sucks!!! I can relate to the shoulder! I had a rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery this past Mon. Shoulders it seems, as you know, is a painful recovery!

Thanks. Despite the cast, I replaced plugs and coils today. You guys are motivating me to keep getting this thing dialed in.

Ouch. I just spent this past weekend doing maintenance. New plugs, new coils and a good cleaning, with a broken wrist and shoulder. What did you do this weekend?

Just because you don't see updates posted on the forum doesn't mean development is not underway.

My tune is out of fuel, I've maxed out the Bosch HPFP. I have a project coming together right now for my F10 that will give me the ability to make 600hp/tq on uncompromised full DME control direct injection without supplemental auxiliary fueling. IE Port / Meth injection.

Do you still have the inlet pipe for sale also did you notice any gains. I talked to a VSRF rep not to long ago that said they are working on a Short ram intake and intercooler. So don’t know if I should do something like this or just wait to see what they release.

I am out of inlets at this time, if there is enough interest I might consider having more made. Before I decided to have them made I had talked to Tiago (Owner of VRSF), but at the time he didn't feel there was enough demand to make them. For someone like him it is profitable in volume to have larger runs made. As far as making more power, yes there is a definite advantage. Now when tuning I am not running out of air at the top end. It didn't matter what turbo you have if it is breathing through too small of a straw. Prior to the inlet I had a hard time getting over 17PSI on the Pure Stage 2.

I am in Arizona so tuning for power just isn't going to happen until the fall. Ambient temps are too high to get any decent power, our cars start pulling timing with high IATs. For now I think this is a good solution. In the future I can see better intake options with either a relocated MAF sensor or the MAF being eliminated. I know that is being worked on, but it completely changes the way you have to tune the car since you are not getting a reading of metered air pre-turbo.

A flash such as BM3 changes fuel scaling and timing and will make a very noticeable gain in the performance. On top of peak numbers you will gain power through the low to middle ranges that make driving it a better experience.

Just an update to my build. It is summer here in AZ and I will not be putting it on the dyno or drag strip until it cools down. I have been playing with tuning and I am really seeing the benefits of the inlet. Prior to installation with PS2 I couldn't get much over 17 PSI. I am now logging 22-23 PSI and it pulls like a freight train. I am looking forward to the fall to really see where I am at. I am confident I am over 500 even in the heat.

The car has been running great, I am 76k miles now, I started this journey at 46k miles. The last 14k have been with the PS2. I haven't done anything aside from standard maintenance.
