535 muffler delete

Here is a sound clip of muffler delete on a 535. Since I will be changing it again soon, I though I would put up a sound clip of cold start and a couple of revs. Sounds deep and throaty but just a little too much for me. The exhaust is custom of course with 2 extra resonators just before tips to cancel out some of the low speed drone.

M5 mufflers

Had my M5 mufflers installed earlier this week and really happy with it. Nice rich deep tone while highway driving even with the valves wired open. Burbles sound fantastic when decelerating.

It looks like FTP really screwed the pooch with their inlet pipe. It hardly looks any larger than the factory one, and it still uses the factory style seal which greatly limits tube diameter...

Alan's inlet pipe or custom are the way to go if you actually want it to flow.

More parts to install while I have her apart. Turbo install has turned into a major maintenance job as I do not what to do the job twice.

Finally finished install of pure turbo, new oil lines, new coolant lines, water pump, thermostat, and intake pipe. Scheduled some dyno time to get some good logs and base numbers for the custom tune by Cary Jordan.

First version of my custom E30 tune by Cary Jordan! Did some data logging and a dyno pull.

Can't wait to see where this goes from here.

Full E85 Custom Tune Port Injection

Finally had time to have my buddy dyno my car for me. Full E85 run base tune compared to Revision 1 tune. Can't wait to see how much more power/torque the tuner can throw in.

Nice numbers! Are you limited by the HPFP now? Or do you have the n54 style pump?

If the dynos from the 1/3/4 series cars are equivalent, you might be able to reach 500 whp/wtq. How's the spool and daily driving characteristics compared to the stock PWG turbo?

Hoping to reach a reliable 460-480. Anything beyond that, I would consider bonus power. Drive-ability is great as it drives just like a normal car except when you punch it. Traction is another issue that I am dealing with as I have not had the time to have my wavetrac diff installed yet.

Hello everyone. Its been a while since any upgrades have been done and the car runs like a dream.

My little present to myself was a front splitter and had some time today to install it before going back to work this week. I'm liking the simple change to the front end to make her look a little more sporty. Thanks to @spielnicht for the deal on the splitter.

Have a great New Year everyone.

The car looks great man! Love the 4 yr jouney that you have documented.

I'm a little late to the party (first time BMW owner I've had the car now for 3 weeks). For starters I'm doing the Charge pipe, Gloss BLK kidney grills, K&N drop filter, and changing the spark plugs this weekend.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the MHD Super License and Adapter next.

6WB Dash

Another mod I did a couple of month ago but forgot to post up some pics. Found a descent deal on the cluster and had it virginized and installed. Had a connect remote in and programmed it to the vehicle. One of the best interior mods you can do.
