I like the color match. the small black center is enough to contrast. The color match makes the rear look "Beefier".
Looks more stock yet clearly an upgrade.

ACS springs - stock shocks.

Yeah, that helps. It seems I'll have to switch out my stock trap. exhaust tips unless I go with the Vorsteiner diffuser but I'll lose the comfort access trunk opening. Do you have the part number for your ACS springs or where you got them from? I've searched a ton and can't seem to find them for a 550i. My local performance shop only carries H&R and Eibach lowering springs and I'm weighing my options on how low I want to go.

This is covered on numerous threads - you'll need to get the M5 specific bumper insert adapter. It'll never work with stock 550i due to length and how far it sticks out.

I believe this is the part number: 51-12-8-053-585

Thanks in advance for any responses that can guide me in the right direction.

Sorry guys... not real active on here... but yes, I got the entire rear kit offered up by a dealership I believe.. (Maryland??). They have it online.

Yes, there are DIYs out there covering this. I did however use tape to put the sensors over the insert adapter and tucked everything in.

100% you will need M5 exhaust hardware (aftermarket or OEM). I had to adjust my Megan mufflers (stupidly, I bought M5 set up, cut it apart to fit 550i, then back to M5).

Would love to love tap that rear end until it was disfigured any day

Glad the daughter is alright in all seriousness
