NBT EVO retrofit from Bimmer Tech

Anyone who has done this, does going from NBT to NBT Evo require a new harness, or just new hardware (HU & Screen (optional)) and coding?

I did not need a new harness. I had a 2013 with an NBT and it was plug and play.

Prior years may need a harness, from what I understand.

Looking for some help, my current 2012 328i does not have GPS and has the smaller 6.5" screen. I want to upgrade to a bigger screen and add GPS, does anyone have a good site to make this purchase? Also with swapping everything out, will I need extra cables? GPS antenna?
