Found this amazing product that protects against the belt from shredding into your engine. It's almost happened to me twice. Both times from oil dripping on my belt and shredding at high speeds.

I don't know anyone who's tried it yet, but I thought I'd share in case someone who knows about this.

There have been a lot of people who used this crank seal guard. For the n54 also. I will eventually order one.

It would still help protect against belt failure for reasons other than oil leaks. But if you stay on top of maintenance, the belt should never physically fail anyhow.
