Hi gang, I have an amazing 550i Alpine White M-Sport available for lease takeover. It's an amazing car just about fully loaded except for DHP Cold Weather package and Night Vision.
Looking have extra cash to do some home improvements and get into an SUV as well. Car is immaculate. http://www.swapalease.com/lease/deta...?salid=1037512 |

Sorry to bump this thread up again. But I couldn’t help but notice you posting questions about your 550 and how excited you were to get it. But only six months later you listed it for at least take over.
Buyers remorse? Unexpected other family stuff? Just curious as I’m about to pick up a 2014 tmrw afternoon. |

https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2...-lawsuit.shtml I have also read about it here or the other site, but as I don't have any V8 variant I just glanced at the post. |

The suit seems to focus on oil consumption, which is not unique to BMW V8s. The review C&D did of their long term V8 Mustang recently showed the same issue. Not saying the TU and later variants don't have issues, but I do think that they have been substantially improved vs. the original engine, which appeared to require endless replacements of injectors, plugs, value stem seals, fuel pumps, etc. Perhaps time will reveal that the TU is just as problematic as the original, but I'm reluctant to paint it with the same brush just because of some oil consumption. |

OMG, I don’t know how I found this thread again but I ended up trading this leased 550i in and taking a bath. One of the worst financial moves I ever made. I’m not going to say what I traded it in for. I’ve been through numbers out cars since then and I’m now driving a 2019 M2 Competition. I just didn’t like the 550i. It was fast, boring and didn’t handle that well. I really should have kept it until lease end though.
Sorry for the LAAAAAAATE reply if anyone is still watching lol! |
