Sunroof not working right
Tilt up feature not working & I have to hold the switch for the roof to slide instead of getting the typical one press action. Anyone experienced this? I tried the reset procedure from youtube but it stops partway through the sequence and doesn't end up doing anything.
Edit: Just realized this is in the wrong section. My bad. |

Try using the sunroof reset procedure, explained here.

Was this the same model BMW you have? How old of a video was it? Did the video apply to your model year? We have no way of knowing if we didn't watch the same video. . There are instructions in your owners manual on how to reset the sunroof after a loss of power or other malfunction. One of the specifics that may be missed/overlooked on some models is...THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE RUNNING. Was it? My f06 requires the engine running...my e53 does not: {f06 instructions/owners manual} {e53 instructions/BMW TIS}
