New tires and spacers

Wife finally got sick of the run flats and asked me to put on a traditional all season radial. Picked the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. Perfect all season tire for her 13' 535X. Decided I wanted to change the stance a bit and went with 10MM spacers in the front and 15MM spacers on the back, based on some of threads from this forum.

They fit perfectly. The tops of the tires are perfectly lined up with the fender lines on both the front and the back, and the car drives and steers beautifully. Excellent advice from this group as always. Completely changes the look of the car as well.

I believe that these wheels came with the car, but they are not very common. It's too bad, because they seem to have more style then the other 18" wheels that are painted all silver. Did this style wheel come with a specific luxury line option?

Those are the 19” BMW 453 wheels. I believe were optional wheels on the 14-16 535. They were installed on my wife’s first 535 by the dealer. When she bought this one, we kept the wheels and moved them to the new car. They look much better in person than they do in pictures. They are one of BMW’s best looking wheels ever.

If they were dealer installed, that explains why they appear only now and then. Thanks.

The wheels were available on any 5 series, 14-16. They were a dealer add on my wife’s 2013 CPO car.

Looks good, have you noticed any vibrations at higher speeds?

Nope, none at all. Had it rolling down the NJ Turnpike yesterday at 85 MPH. Smooth as silk.
