M5 to F10 Seat retrofit coding

Ok, i have a set of 2014 M5 seats with heat/cooling/massage coming from a 2014 M5 and retrofitting into a 2013 F10 550 msport that has heated full power seats on both sides.

Have the massage buttons for both doors, have the HVAC unit for console with Cooling features.

New seats have an extra wire on them that my seat do not. I have heard others have retrofitted this but could not get seat bolsters to work.

Has anyone coded M5 seats to F10 and what did you code? Did anyone connect the extra wire and get all functions to work?

Thanks in advance. Will make this a DIY thread once I have all the proper info

Well it seems that if you have a 07/2013 or earlier F10, the seats from a 08/2013 or LATER F10 will NOT FIT! BMW says they WILL fit, but they do not. They shrunk the seat rails by about 2 inches in width in 08/2013 to accommodate Hybrid and other models. HEads up when looking for seats.

The bolt-hole spacing on the pre-13 seats is about 100mm wider left-to-right, but the spacing front-to-rear is the same on all models. This doesn't mean you can use the mounting points on one side and just adapt the other side to fit, as works with other BMWs, since the pre-13 bolt-holes are just too close to the sill / trans. tunnel. The difference in width is not central to the seat either [as in ~50mm equal either side], so adapting to fit is not going to be easy.
