Is stage 2 n55 worth it?
The f10 is currently sitting at 207k km. Im wondering is putting some money into stage 2 basics like dp + tune and bigger intercooler. is it worth it considering the millage? |

Yes! Lots of life left in the car as long as rust isn't a problem. Just upgrade from reputable tuners with good track records.
M Sport for the win! |

Well, remember that I'm some rando on the internet, but I'll throw the idea out to first get Bimmergeeks Protool and play around with personalizing the car to your tastes. Zero performance gain, but some nice features.
Then move on to the transmission and use xHP to improve the shifting. ZF8 is a great transmission but it's tuned for economy and comfort for the elderly. BTW, do a transmission fluid service... you should be on your second one at this point, and unless documented by previous owner, you're very over-due! Then like you mentioned, a stage 2 along w/ intercooler and quality CAI to delete the lame intake routing. Then after that the sky's the limit at how much you want to throw at the thing. Maybe a brake upgrade if you're adding on extra hp. What goes fast needs to stop fast. That's my order of operation! |

Looks like a basic stock F10 on the wrong wheels LOL. Not sure it necessitated the need a full debut but Cheers.
Im sure there are plenty of opinions out there. Mine... well lowering is always my go to first thing. When I got my F10 it already had some exhaust modifications so I did a MST intake and VRSF charge pipe. After that I got MHD and adjusted the tune, as well as xHP and went stage 3 tune on the trans. This was night and day. I loved the car after these changes. |
