Noise when breaking

What is this noise that I can hear only when breaking? Sometimes it's not as loud and sometimes not at all. A service trip is coming up but I was curious if anyone can tell what is causing it? Thanks

Are you talking about the squeal? That sounds like the pads are gone and the pad backing plate is making contact with the rotor. If that's the sound, I would have that looked at IMMEDIATELY!

Nothing lmao. I'll let you guys know when I find out. Could be brakes, but the dashboard says front pads need to be replaced in 10k miles and rear in 30k. Could it be that far off?

Yes it can be that far off. Better to eyeball than trust that counter

May need to re lube the break pad ears or sliding pins, Also may even be that dust shield.
