hi...i wish idd make this quick but long story short i love my 2014 550 ix or better said i loved it until i bought an 2016 x5m and screwed me over in a good way i guess) ....i got the f85 mostly as an weekend extra car but lately i love driving that car and wanna be in it more and more....so to spice things up with my 550 i did some upgrades hopefully i would fell in love with it again but i guess an M car is an M car..so now im thinking selling but im so busy at work and hate posting and selling stuff i just want somebody to come take it all quick like a band aid lol..so i will need yalls feedback see if the price im thinking is reasonable considering my expensive upgrades and having the original parts also
car has 97000 miles and only problem i had was with coils and i had the dealer change all 8
2 week ago i put kw ver 3 coil-overs still have the original coils also $3000 installed at dealer and have original spring plus a set of ac schnitzer lowering springs
cat less down pipes 1 month ago still have the stock ones $1000 installed at dealer
1 month ago jb4 plus with bluetooth $750
this is just in the last month hoping i would fell in love again
older mods are
gt meistershaft ev exhaust $4500 i have stock exhaust
stop tech big brake kit trophy $3500
m5 20 inch wheels with conti tires in great shape
carbon wing and carbon difuser not in the best shape now
plus the car is fully loaded

So with 17500 for the price of the car and does it come with all the upgrades you put on it. I'm tryna clarify it. Second if does how much horsepower does the car have with those upgrades

yes 17500 for all ...first i was contemplating putting all stock parts and sell the parts but im so busy at work i dont have space and ill have to pay mechanic for some work that i dont wana mess with it...i wanted to do this move a few month ago then i changed my mind hoping these upgrades will change my feelings...i really dont know what power does because because i do all these just out of pleasure ...i never track or race my car

I'm definitely interested man and that's an amazing car you got there. She's a beauty, Imma have to give you an answer within 2 weeks for sure since I have to discuss with my parents since I'm a college student

As a college student, can you really afford the maintenance on a 550i? It's a great example of a higher-ish mileage 550, so I'd hate to see it go under maintained (esp given the N63's rep) or you go into financial hell trying to maintain it.

I had a friend told me to if I was going to buy a BMW make sure I buy an aftermarket warranty to make sure I won't spending too much money on maintenance. Also I had no idea that the 2014 models had major problems

Warranty doesn't cover maintenance, only covers parts that break due to manufacture defects. If the car has been deemed to be under-maintained, warranty requests will be usually denied since it won't be determinable if the item broke due to a defect or just simply lack of maintenance. LCI (which is this one) have the N63TU, which is a lot more reliable, but still requires solid maintenance if you want it to stay reliable.

Oil changes, front/rear differential fluid change, transfer case fluid change, transmission fluid change, power steering fluid, sparks, coils, drive belt, etc... you get the idea.

It depends on milage and maintenance. Also mods. Some people will prefer a stock car while others may prefer one with catless downpipes, JB4 and exhaust. So many variables.

My brother recently bought a 2016 535i X-drive with about 33k miles for 26k, to put things into perspective. Car was totally stock with M-Sport and nicely optioned out.

Just find a comparable 535xi on autotrader, you'll see how much it's worth. Sometimes it's good to keep track of how much your car is worth.
