Front Bumper Gap

So I've noticed that the gap from my front bumper to my hood seems a bit large...

Does this seem too large or is it just me? Also how do I go about and fix this?

Looks a hair wide, but panels gaps always look larger on light colored vehicles.

I recently bought a CPO from the dealer and noticed the same issue. I had the dealer realign the hood for me. They loosened the two top bolts and diminished the gap space. I get it back today, but here is a before picture.

So it should be just as simple as adjusting the mounting bolts?

Yes, that is what my service adviser at the dealership went over with me. He said there was a little bit of room to play with it. If I pick it up today I'll send you pictures.

I got my car back and they did a good job reducing the gap back to stock.

I agree. Much easier to loosen and adjust the flexible bumper than to move the hood!

Finally got around to fixing the gap. There's still a weird bit by the wheel well, but I got some part of it fixed at least!

That exact bump is 3.8mm +/- 1mm from factory...

So if it's more than that it's usually an "adjustment" issue, someone pulled it back and didn't return properly

Do all the gaps between panels throughout the car have a standard or clearance tolerance?
