Yes, it has some issues and is quirky sometimes but so is my Android phone. My main problem has been with Waze, sometimes I would get all audio out of my front left speaker only but I figured out that if I launch Waze first and then the audio app I want to use that issue goes away. Sometimes Waze launches and freezes or cannot find the network, now I just wait until I am sure it has connected to my phones hotspot and has internet access and that issue is fixed as well. I think it is worth the $450, the screen looks great and the system works pretty well for the most part.

I like it for watching ESPN, Netflix, HBO Go, even the NCAA tournament while waiting in the car to pick up my kids after school or at sporting events.

I also use multi-screen a lot and have Waze running on half of the screen and a music app (Amazon or Spotify) on the other half.

I have not tried connecting my phone directly to it with Bluetooth, I still have my phone connect to the car and then run a hotspot that the Avin unit connects to.

These are the wires I was not sure what to do with?

Is it easy to connect the PX6 unit to the cell phone internet via Wifi connection ? My friend who has PX3 told me it is a really terrible work everytime when get in the car.

I mean, If I turn on sharing on Cell Phone, will the PX6 unit automatically connect wifi or not ? Is it necessary to go to settings of multimedia unit everytime for connecting ?

Hi Fletch.
Are you using an IPhone to connect automatically?

If not, does anyone else use an iPhone with their displays? I would like to make sure I don't have to access menus to connect everytime I enter the car.

Also. How have you connected the aux input ? Is it easy enough to hide the cable run?

Thanks in advance.

I have an Android (Galaxy S9). I ran the aux cable under the center console. It was not too hard to remove the cover and run it underneath.

Bluetooth Behavior

Hey,
Thanks for posting. How does the bluetooth connection behave when receiving and during a call? Does the display default to the call only, or does it also work in the background? While using navigation or the BM3 Dashboard for example?
