My windows are tinted so luckily don't have that problem. I have, however, been burned by the seatbelt buckle before I tinted the windows lol

I have ceramic tint but not on the windshield. I think if I park in the direction where the sun comes through the windshield, it will heat up the trims. It's as hot as the seatbelt buckle lol

I have tint all around, with a 70% basically clear tint on the windshields and 30% everywhere else.

I had 70% on my original windshield which got cracked. My second one, I never got around to tinting it and then I got a small crack about the size of a quarter. I'm debating should I get a regular windshield and tint again or get a climate comfort windshield and don't have to tint

Evo retrofit complete with the touchscreen finally installed and coded. Thought the 6WB was my favorite retrofit, but this definitely take the helm by a mile. Love CarPlay over ConnectedDrive and how OEM the screen looks. Looks completely factory.

The touch screen originally from a G11, but the shop I bought it from custom fabricates them using G11 display and original F10 trim/brackets for an OEM fit.

No clue where the NBT Evo HU came from, but it was customized to include a GPS chip.

I think I may begin my research to try and mirror this upgrade. I currently have a 6WB as well and looking for another interior mod.

Yeah, I literally have both a G11 display and multiple f10 displays sitting around and would love this mod!! Need to know how to do it so bad!!!

I believe these are on eBay for >$400 or something but I would love it if someone could share the back side of this setup for me to try and replicate

Yeah it wasn't cheap, but figured the cost of a G11 screen, F10 parts, and cost of risk of not being able to fabricate it right, I just bought it ready.

From what I can tell you, you need to remove the entire black plastic backing of the G11 screen. It also looks like board is glued to the back of the screen when it's removed from the metal bracket. How the screen is secured to the F10 bracket, I'm not sure. I was curious but couldn't take it apart because I didn't want to break the seal from the seller for warranty purposes.

I bought the Evo ID6 from a US shop because I initially didn't think I'd want the touchscreen. I quickly realized usability sucks without it. I wish I had just gotten the deal you referenced. It's a little cheaper than what I paid.

For the inclusion of the GPS chip and custom fabricated touchscreen display, I think this is the best deal you can get for a complete package (with iDrive controller as well).

Drove out to Easton CT from NYC to get a roof box. Needless to say, it was a...tad bigger than expected. It's such a pain that the rear seats don't fold completely flat.

Oh, would have been better to actually install it on roof bars since you'd be needing them anyways.

I drove out to San Diego with a roof box attached, was slightly worse on mpg, but the Thule stayed pretty quite at higher speeds
