Finally got around to finishing the last of the comfort seat retrofit. Ran wire inside the door and spliced into the can lines for the side view mirror, since there is no other can line in the door if your car never came with memory passenger seats. The hole for the switch panel is actually punched out after manufacturing the door panel, so you normally need a special tool, but I traced out the driver side and free handed it. Not the prettiest hole in the world, but once the switch is installed it looks pretty OEM.

Also added a USB C PD port with data pass through, replacing the 12v socket under the glovebox. Allows me to still have wired android auto to my carlinkit MMI box, but also have USB C PD fast charging. Pretty trick, huge shout out to breakitout for the parts.

At least for the MMI unit, there is wireless android auto for my unit. It's just that it's kind of laggy and feels like it operates at 15fps while wired is at 30fps.

My customized steering wheel from Coby Wheel arrived and installed. I'm so happy with it and breaths a new life into the car. Highly recommend these guys.

Got a chance to replace my engine and transmission mounts. It took most of the day, but after learning from my mistakes, I am confident I could do it in just a few hours now, if I ever have a need to do it again in the future.

Absolutely last mod on the car for the forceable feature. G11 caliper upgrade. Will post installed pics on the weekend once wheels are washed. Color (Sky Blue) is coming across a bit off in the photos, but it's a 100% match to the light blue in the BMW emblem. I wanted the calipers to be powder coated blue, but not anywhere close to Estoril blue.

Still going back and forth on decal (BMW vs Brembo vs nada). Not considering "M" for the same reason I stayed away from Estoril blue.

Can't thank Unspec enough for all his support on this mod.

If anyone is in the DMV, NV Coatings is the place to go for powder coating. They also did the 343m wheels I have and their work and customer service are tops.

I've been staying busy upgrading/performing maintenance before I start traveling again for the fall work season. Still have more I want to do, but I don't know if I'll have time before I have to head out of town again. Here's what I've now gotten accomplished:

Front struts/spring pads/bump stops
Front sway bar links
Front upper control arms upgraded to negative camber version (cheaper than Dinan, but supposedly the same spec)
Vanos solenoids
Spark plugs/coils
Cleaned MAF sensor
Cleaned afe dry air filter

Have you considered the 6WA cluster upgrade?

I went from the base cluster to the 6WA, it was pretty cheap and looks much nicer. 6WB would be nice but still so $$$.

I can virginize that cluster as long as its 2015 or older or I can recommend a really good retrofitter based out of LA who can do so on basically all Fxx cars no matter the year.
