Agree, we are grappling with the balance of how much to auto cut and how much to leave. It will likely be auto cut with an option to restore the full trail

Yup, everything we've done on the android side is almost ready on the iOS side as well. We want to get it a little more polished before release. Then both apps will be running in complete parallel.

Any chance we get a beta release for iOS? Ready to sideload it

Yup, everything we've done on the android side is almost ready on the iOS side as well. We want to get it a little more polished before release. Then both apps will be running in complete parallel.

Can somebody please make a "dark mode" or "dark version" for iOS app? Bimmerpost is the only app that I use daily, and doesn't have that feature. Keeps burning my eyeballs out

Enjoying the update so far. I did the fresh install as recommended so I had to login again. A small bit of feedback is that the login page isn't seen as a username and password entry so Androids secure login feature or auto fill option doesn't prompt even though I have bimmer post credentials saved there.

Just a small quality of life improvement for forum users that wanted to quickly login to your new app on a fresh install.

Running 5.0.1. Open threads still flagged as unread for me.
Also, why is everything so big, and white!?
The bottom menu, Page count ( Page 2/2 ) / "Post a reply" icon bit and the "auto refresh thread" options take up 1/4 of the screen alone!

Plus, seem to have lost ability to edit a post?

Have you signed back in? When I first upgraded, it seemed to have logged me out and wasnt particularly obvious.

Yes I have signed back as per the screenshot. When I try and reply I can write a reply but when I hit send it tells me I'm not logged in (writing this on my PC). Very Strange.

Hi,

A little while ago, I downloaded & installed Bimmerpost v5.0.1 for Android on my Samsung S21+, running Android 12. I am writing this message on my PC

I can see and read news item, BUT when I select forums:
* My Forums. All I get is blank screen
* Subscriptions. I get No connection screen (see attached)

Also, when I tried to send a message on my phone, I got a not logged in message, even though I was logged in

I've logged out and back in; have also tried rebooting my phone -- no luck

UPDATE: I even logged out, Cleared App Cache & Logged back in -- still no joy!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???

Please reduce the font sizes of the page titles, options, icons in the banners etc. Or, even better, make them customisable, like the thread list.
Screenshot above just highlights how massive everything looks.

Also having to regularly log back in now, which is a new thing.

+1 to the dark mode request. It's just a must-have option. This app is also one of the brightest apps in the history of the world, it's like looking at sun ðŸ˜Ž

Otherwise, awesome changes. Love the new look and feel!
