Inner tie rod removal?

Do you need any special tools to unscrew the inner tie rods? I tried to bust loose the inner/outer connection in preparation for an alignment and it wasn't happening so I am going to replace both. If I cut the inner rod at the end and slide the boot off, can I use standard tools to undo the inner? Thanks!

So, excuse my lazy question. I was trying to plan out needed tools but not near the car.

ANSWER-
On the f10 (xDrive 2011) you DO NOT necessarily need any special tools. The subframe placement allows a “big crescent” to clear and remove/install inner tie rods. Get ‘em changed!
