CATLESS downpipe & o2 question.

Please HELP

I wanted to ask for the people with the catless downpipe on their cars.
I have heard about installing a spacer on the o2 sensor.
I wanted to know how many of you have done this or should I just install the catless downpipe without any o2 sensor spacer.

I have the o2 spacer and there is no check engine light and all emission systems show ready. Plus, I just passed my emissions test in Illinios.

I do get check engine light during winter but very rarely due being extremely cold weather here.

do you have any piggy back to go with the setup or just the catless downpipe. I am just worry that when I install the JB4 + the catless downpipe I will have to be replacing the o2 sensor often.

I ran jb4 with catless dp and o2 spacer for 2 years than went MHD. Still on original o2 sensors at 105k.

You only put o2 spacer on the down stream so when the exhaust gases are leaving the downpipe the second sensor is spaced out and it reads normal readings.

Same question.

I will have to search this for you because I bought my downpipe used that already came with the sapcer.

If you dont use spacer than you will get check engine light and emission will show that catalytic converter is not ready.

Quick bump

At what point does an o2 sensor usually go bad. Does anyone know how many total o2 sensors there are and how much they cost? I have 103k miles on my car and thinking if I should just replace the O2 sensors

Also will this spacer do or is there a better one ? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.uro...-sensor-spacer

Youll throw a code if the o2 goes bad. They aren't expensive if you shop in the right place. I use rockauto.
