WTB Set of 4 BMW M5 OEM 20" Style 343 Wheels/Tires w/TPMS
Just ordered my 550i for a ~6/2014 delivery. Looking to purchase a set of 20" 343M OEM M5 wheels/tires with TPMS to use for the summer months - planning to use my 19" that I ordered with 'all-season tires' during the winter. |

You're going to need spacers.

This place sells reps and price isnt too bad. If you call them they can get other sizes as well. |

I've read several threads from others that spacers were not needed for a 550i - only an 'xi'... I have a link to one, but it is on a different website -- PM me and I can send it. |

Pretty sure (I may be wrong), that x-drive has nothing to do with caliper size. The 550 has slightly larger front calipers than say the 535 or 528 and therefore will require a 3mm+ spacer. I know the 343M rims work well on a 535 (x-drive or not) without a spacer. Just an FYI.

Very helpful - thanks for providing this as I had 'thought' I could just throw the 343M's on without anything else.... Your feedback has me reconsidering as I know the stock 295 / 265 tires that come with the 343m's are quite large and, in addition to the spacer, might not be the best fit for my 550. Wondering if I'd be better served buying 343 reps with new 275-285 / 245-255 tires (plus center caps & TPMS).... argh... so much for this being a simple purchase. Any input/insight would be greatly appreciated --- perhaps I'll re-create a thread back on the main boards as this would no longer really apply to a WTB thread. Thanks again for the insight. |

Very much looking forward to your pics --- if they look great, I'll re-initialize my OEM 343M pursuit... Reps have me scared - though I'm not sure if I should be.

I have a set available ... like new ... less than 3k miles on the wheels/tires
OEM 20" BMW 343Ms w/ TPMS & Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires Asking $3500 or best offer. There's nothing wrong with the wheels, I have decided to go with a different look on my car. http://s78.photobucket.com/user/pill...M%20Rims-Tires Last edited by pillpusher84; 04-06-2014 at 09:37 AM.. |

Ok here's one pic. When I first installed the M5 front wheel, I noticed it stood out a bit. Now with the spacer, it's even more noticeable. Hence, I didn't go any further with the installations. But with the spacer, the wheel did clear the caliper just fine. So now I'm thinking about selling the M5 wheels/tires/TPMS set.

Yeah, those are some big rubbers the factory puts on those M5 wheels. Don't think it would be as bad with a smaller size. Also, I haven't measured but the 10mm spacer provides a significant amount of caliper clearance... meaning you can probably get away with less. Also remember, you don't need spacers in the rear.
