F10 late 2015 M sport with wide screen iDrive.... I'm hearing some noise from the console about 5 seconds after starting the car and 10 minutes after i turn the car off. The noise is close to internal motors starting up etc.

Apparently this noise is normal and it happens on all these models. Does anyone else experience this issue?

Yes, all sorts of solenoid/motor sounds from my F11. The initial noise can be the HVAC system setting up the air flows. Quite a few 'activities' as the car goes into sleep mode.

Yes I certainly recall some distant noises when shutting down the engine. Never could work out where they came from but quite normal.
