I still have the Morimoto kit as per my last reply in this post from late last year and all is still working fine. Is there something specific you had a question about?

That pretty much answers my question, thanks.

Has anyone seen, heard or installed the iJDMtoy.com LED fogs?

the error eliminator is the canbus harness (you will need this 'optional' harness when ordering)

Just a word of caution, bmw electronics is very sensitive to voltage irregularities and when it does detect such occurrence, there is a chance your ecu will shut down the lighting module and will light up the error message of "Light control module malfunction". Such that it is not a warranted item and this LCM module alone costs around $1,000.

speaking of personal experience in the past and that's why I don't play around with bmw's electronics gadgets anymore. I am sure thousands of people have done it and hopefully, you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are interested, here are some pics that I had switched over to halogen yellow fog lights.

The reviews on those are shitty, and bad customer service, retrofit source is the only place I would get hid's from in that price range, they only get more expensive from there.

Thanks for the reply.

Anyone know if its H11A or H11B? I know it's H11, but the a or b came out of left field.

Sorry for the late reply , I tucked mine in the little cavity where the fog lights are. Right behind the plastic mesh.

So obviously these are going to be somewhat blinding to oncoming traffic? But are they terribly bad? That's my only worry, I don't want to be that douche that's blinding oncoming traffic

Post number 3, picture number 1:

You can see just how blinding these are. Notice how the fog lights look a bit oblong and shine slightly above the bumper? That's because the light is shining directly into the camera lens so brightly that it's creating a reflection on the lens.

I'd stay away and just swap out the entire unit for the LED fogs, you can pick them up pretty cheap used from various sources.
