Question Drive Train Issues

Hi I have a 2014 F10 535d and got the dreaded Drive train issue blah blah. Promptly followed by No Oil pressure STOP. I was on the motorway at rush hour didn't fancy stopping so nursed it 1400 1800 rpm about 3 miles. Stopped and plugged Carly in. Carly told me oil pressure was implausible and what's more it claimed there was no oil. Smelling a rat or fish or whatever I thought funk it engine is probably junked anyway I drove remaing 2 miles home. I have a Topdon scanner and the next morning put that on it. Most noticeable was oil pressure open circuit. Ha ha thought I, I will put a new oil press sensor on, ordered one, it arrived and.....anybody know where it lives?
