Chocolate flan!

Recipe from Bruno Albouze.

Pretty simple - it's a chocolate pastry cream on a shortcrust crust.

Use any shortcrust for the pastry, pre-bake it. Use any pastry cream recipe, fill cake ring, bake and refrigerate overnight.

Outside edge falls short on aesthetics because I forgot to grease and flour the cake ring!

To de-mold I needed to run a knife around the edge a few times and carefully remove the cake ring.
