Soft door closing on F10!

Okay guys so my driver door is getting rough. It won't latch smoothly when closing as used to be, I know this would happen at some point. With other doors when I slightly push them the soft door mechanism work and close them. However, with the driver door I have to give it that extra push so it can engage. I tried to lubricate it but had no luck. Have anyone experienced this? What was your move to solve this issue! Thanks!

There are lines etched into the body by the latch allowing you to adjust it by loosening the two screws that hold it in. I adjusted mine and now it closes like the other doors. Take a little trial and error though, I went one line at a time.

No on the pillar where the door closes, on the outer edges of the latch plate there are 4 notches that should line up with the latch marks. My car's parked at the moment but when I get home I can snap a pic and upload it

OP, it is in your second picture.
On the right side of the picture, along the plate edge, in the middle, you see the notch?
Just left of that you can see the screw with markings on top.

Thank you! It was hard for me to see it since my car is black. Anyways I'll try adjusting that tonight hopefully it will fix it.

I'm really not sure because when I unscrew the bolts it was almost completely loose so I had to tighten it a little and adjust accordingly. It's time consuming just be patient and play with it until you find that good spot. Also it might be different for your door since I tried first to align it like my other door latches since they're fine but every other latches aligned differently for some reason. You might not get it aligned from the first few tries and that's fine.

What I would suggest is just play with it but make sure when you find that good spot that the door line up with the body. When I adjusted it the first time it was night and it felt like brand new but didn't check the door, then in the morning I went for a drive and air was leaking because the door wasn't aligned & didn't see it. So I had to lose it and do the process all over again. Hope that helps

I will be trying this asafp!!! Dealer wants me to bring it in and "diagnose". YEAH RIGHT!

I am just wondering which direction to adjust it so I don't get any air or water leaks???

The parts database says that it is a countersunk Torx: (see #5 in the diagram below and link to the part database site)

Sorry for the late reply my account was pending and couldn't post anything for the past few days. Anyways, as I mentioned in my first post the latches mount differently from door to door but here's mine after I got it align. You can try that hope it will fix yours.
