Wheels/Tires upgrade -> Tire Pressure malfunction!!!

Hey guys,
I have upgraded my F10 535i to summer wheels (not BMW originals) with slightly bigger tires 255 40 19 all around. I knew that the car does not have the TPMS system so I didnt install sensors in the wheels. Ever-since I am not able to register the TPM..
I went to Bosch service and they told me that my vehicle is showing direct pressure measures needed, so I bought 4 original BMW sensors for F10 (event though I knew the car does not have TOMS). So, the sensors are now readable by the Bosch sensor machine, however the vehicle does not see them, so I still cant register the tires/pressure.
I assume it is the tire size.. I assume the car measures the pressure with the ABS sensors and it calculates wheels rotation/against the distance covered.. I assume the bigger size confuses the ABS sensors and do not allow them to register the wheels.

Please, help..

If you do not have TPMS then you have the old FTM (Flat Tire Monitor) which does work the way you described. So yes the size change is the problem. It will take coding to either fix or omit.

I'm confused, too. I'm not sure what to suggest because you have not explained the steps you are taking to reset/reinitialize/register the new wheels/tires you've installed. You've only written that you've tried to register the system...but what if you're doing it incorrectly? We have no way of knowing because you haven't explained what your method is.
