Post 550i Engine swap

looking for any advice, information or direction on swapping out a dead N63 on a 13 550i. I found an engine that Im thinking of buying, its pre-owned and out of an 2012 B7. im concerned about mating it to my stock zf 8hp, not sure about alignment and fit. Also i know that the turbos are upgraded in the B7 so im concerned also about the fitment from the downpipes into the rest of the exhaust. i have a bunch of questions so anyone with any knowledge is greatly appreciated.

when my engine died, I assembled an S63 like on an XME and installed intercoolers from an M5 F10. improved cooling. now I smile every time I accelerate)))) and the box fits without problems)

in your case, install a B7 engine, flash your car with the Alpina program, and enjoy)

Hornet-01, would you mind providing how to flash a car with the Alpina ECU tune? (I think my Alpina tune has been reverted to the standard N63 operation....used to get +600HP on the Sport display, but now cannot get above 540HP).

I'm flashing my car with tg flasher. via obd2. but my friend is writing the program for me; many people know him in the field of car tuning. His name xFet. I don’t like ready-made ones, I’m more interested when the program is made for my car. plus you need to record a log. for logging I use vehacle logger . you can see many parameters in it, boost, fuel pumping, intake temperature, lambda correction, etc.
