Hello everyone, I have just received my 2013 BMW 535i xDrive with 60k miles. Today, I tried to use the moonroof for the first time. The moonroof cover retracted all the way without issue. Next, I tried to retract the glass, the glass started its retraction process but stopped after moving 1 cm. At this time, the glass wound not open any more or close. I did the moonroof reset process, with the car parked and engine running, which did not solve the issue. The only thing that happened was the button making clicking sounds. Whenever I press the moonroof button, it makes a couple clicking sounds, but the glass and the cover does not move at all. Anyone knows of a solution or had this happened to them? I'll have to tape the moonroof for now as rain is on the forecast. Thank you

Clicking noises? you may have to take the time to check the assembly to make sure nothing is slipped off its rail, could be out of alignment, something could also be jamming it, or something lodged in it.
