Here's a few pics of the winter set-up. Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 255/35-20 front and 285/30-20 rear on 9" and 10.5" wide Avantgarde M355 wheels. I'll try to take some better photos during the christmas holidays, hopefully in snowy scenery

Looks like 9" and 10.5" are the perfert width for those tires.

By the way, what offset are those wheels?

Really great looking F11

I'm also interested in the offsets of the winter rims.

Looks like the Euro M355 wheels are a little different than the version we had here. At least BMW let Avante Garde still sell them there.

Yes, Avantgarde had to do a minor design modification to their M355 wheels so they shouldn't be a straight copy of the BMW Style 343 (M5) wheels.

The offsets are ET35 front and ET38 rear. The rear fitment is perfect, but if they were my summer wheels I'd probably use a set of 5 or 10mm spacers up front.

Thank you for input on the offsets!

I agree on the summer/spacer thinking. Here in Scandinavia a low offset up front during winter is a bad investment for the paint and wash account

Even your winter setup is more aggressive than the standard one!

Thanks, I'm very happy with the winter setup, but I actually prefer the 21" summer setup. It is rarely snow here in Stavanger, so it should be no problem running 20" in the winter. No rubbing issues at all by the way

Thanks, I have to give my sister credit for the good photos, she's studying multimedia technology and design at the University.

Your car looks perfect!

Now where did you get the electric tape that you have around your rims?

Thank you! To be honest I don't know, because my sister took the photos, she has a lot of fancy photographic equipment.

Thanks a lot! I think it is a brand new tape brand called Falken, this electric tape had a pretty hefty price tag

I have two Alpine White BMWs and know how hard it is to get them completely clean after they get REALLY dirty.

Looks ok, but I would opt for a darker bronze, if available.

Walkabout I absolutely love your grill. I know you've mentioned part. Numbers for these on other threads but where can you buy them from and do they fit a standard F10? I've ordered a 520D M Sport in white and want one of these grills so badly on preparation for when it arrives. Thanks
