Hey everyone. I just bought an f10 535i Xdrive and was checking the coolant fluid level. When I first checked it out it showed me that it was at the minimum level in which I topped it off and filled it up. I drive it for a day or so and I check the level again and it shows me that it's at the minimum level again. I checked for leaks but I can't seem to find any. There are also no warning lights on so should I just leave it alone for should I seek more details out?

You can try adding dye into the system and then get a blacklight to find the leak. You can also look for white spots in the engine bay.

Go to a mechanic, people on the forums can't diagnose your car without seeing it. It's definitely concerning.

Should I try the dealership or should I try an independent shop. I've got a good local one with a good rep in my town

Go to whichever is cheaper. Have them figure out what's wrong first, and then shop around for repair options.

Have a similar kinda deal

My 528i seems to spit it out of the overflow tank, cause you can see dried spray there and the front of the car while running always smells like coolant. Small problem, coolant tank cap may need replacing.

If I'm not mistaking the coolant is getting through the system. You want to have the car running and open up the cap and continue to add coolant. The coolant level will keep dropping if there's not enough coolant circulating in the system. I did this with my sport bike.
