need help and advice about buy new timing chain kit

Hello everybody ,

im adressing to you to hopffly get answers and advices about chainging my bmw F10 530D mod 09/2010 ( vin : C510866 ) Timing chain .
Actually as you know the major issue of N57D30 engine is timing chain failure wich can cause lot of damage for that i need to change the timing chain i need to know if there is an renforced kit that solve the issue or the best brand i can by ( febi , swag .... ) i cannot by from bmw dealer because its a lot of money.

any advice about brands ( links ) , prices what part needed to be changed .....

I believe timing chain failure is not common on the N57. How many miles/km do you have on your car?

There is a youtube video of someone who replaced this himself. A very big job. Either engine or transmission out as the chain is in the back.

iwis is the OEM for many of the BMW chains. I have no info on the guides, for this, I just buy from BMW just to be safe.

Get the updated OEM one. The updated chain has 40% thicker inner chain links.
