Encendido's 535 M Sport

Hi everyone! I meant to make one of these with my 2011 535 last year when I got it but didn't really have the ability to do much to it and was mainly in the learning phase since this was my "first" BMW (had a 95 520 in HS, only mod was a radio). Well, unfortunately it fell victim to a dumb driver and was totaled last month.

Needless to say I jumped back in really quickly and found a nice 2016 535 M sport with 44k miles to replace it. Can't wait to get to started making it mine (after maintenance of course).

And yes, I went Sapphire Black to Jet Black. I know it's a pain to maintain but there's just something about a black on black BMW. Any tips for washing/maintaining/touch up painting i'm all ears!

Congrats! Never take it to a public car wash. Use the 2 bucket method and you should be good to go

Thanks! Yea, I never take my cars to public car washes. I've seen too many horror stories. And the 2 bucket method is a must! People really don't realize how dirty the water gets after the first pass.

I'll have to look into this. Seems it adds a level of care for ceramic coatings. I plan to get some small rock chips fixed and then doing a ceramic coating so this will definitely help with the maintenance.

even with ceramic coating you still have to take care of the precautions of washing the car. i have friends with ceramic coatings on their car...not necessarily BMW but they complain of why they have scratches and swirl marks on their front bumper and hood when they spent a pretty good amount of money on ceramic coating. i asked how do you wash the car? they replied at the car wash of course

I had carbon fiber wrap on there before but I took it off as I already had plenty of carbon fiber

They had this on sale the other day so I picked up a couple.
Oh, and their wheel cleaner with the brush is definitely a must.
