Unable to code FRM using Esys
I've brought a used FRM module for my 2015 F10 LCI. When I try to code it, the code button is greyed out. I've tried to inject a new CAFD file however the code button is still greyed out. Can anyone advise why this might be? Is the FRM not compatible with my car?
My car I level is 15-03-502 Current FRM installed in car: Part Number: 61359383695.9.01 HWEL: 0000 19FD - 002 001001 BTLD: 0000 106B - 015 003 000 SWE1: 0000 106E - 015 003 025 SWE4: 0000 106F - 015 003 015 SW: 25 WD: 15 HW: 48 Production date: 09/03/2015 FRM I'm trying to install: Part Number: 61359394668.9.01 HWEL: 0000 1763 - 002 001001 BTLD: 0000106B - 015 003 000 SWE1: 0000 1739 - 016 003 010 SWE4: 0000 106F - 015 003 015 SW: 10 WD: 15 HW: 46 Production date: 14/04/16 The frm is from a 6 series, so I'm not sure if these FRMs are compaible between different models, or if only certain ones work for the 5 series. The only reason for installing is that I'm planning on retrofitting the electric adjustment steering wheel column and the current FRM does not have the extra connector Last edited by adnanrocks; 08-30-2023 at 06:04 PM..
