BM3 535 Transmission Flash
Has anyone had problems with the BM3 transmission flash? I'm running E30 map and I can definitely feel it cut back when it hits 3rd gear. I REALLY don't want to tune the tranny unless its proven.

It can be selectively disabled in XHP. Don't know anything about BM3 for that specific question. There are engine tunes out there, and BM3 might be one of them, that "lie" to the TCU so that it doesn't limit torque. Just like with "piggy back tunes", however, once you start providing false data between ECUs in the vehicle things sometimes don't work as expected. Checking in with BM3 to determine if that "rescale" values reported to the transmission may be of value. Last edited by Surly73; 10-21-2019 at 07:21 PM.. |

I have been running it for a while now. The downshifts in Sport, Sport+ are a bit aggressive feeling, but otherwise I like it a lot. It definitely speeds up shifting during hard pulls.

Can it be set up to only work (increase tq limits) in Sport+ ?
On a side note, there is no way to completely turn off traction control and DSC is there? Last edited by Casebrius; 11-24-2019 at 11:56 AM.. |
