Factory Remote Start
A few years ago BMW began offering a remote start on our cars. (i have a 2015 535xi) Has anyone on these forums gone through with it? I am looking into do it before the winter starts here, and would like some real reviews from people who have it.

Huh, yep, here it is: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=03_4033. Not for US consumption, though.

Here's another one they don't want falling in the hands of US citizens: https://www.eurostart.com/product/brs1. You're close enough to drive over and get it installed, though, I bet.

I don't know why the site says that but these were/are sold in the U.S.
The price is quite high though, around $1500 the last I checked. Also offered to only certain F10 models and years, LCI. I have also read they are quite limited on range. |

Is really bad for our engines though they are high shear engines and need to get little heat in them asap. B58 and newer have the heat retention crap so even 24hrs later block is holding some heat.
