Alarm keeps going off in the rain

Guys, I'm over it. I've read countless threads even from other forums with people having this issue too and nothing has worked.

It's been raining on and off for a solid week where I am and each time it has rained, my car's alarm keeps going off at random times (2011 535xi). I've tried everything.

No door or window is open, it also happens while I'm at work and not just at home. I checked the hood to make sure it closes properly and it does....etc.

I should mention that this started occurring only after taking it to a BMW specialist mechanic to change out the passenger side axle.... coincidence?

I'd really appreciate some guidance here. I can't afford to keep waking up multiple times a night!

That I have not done, but I have a new remote I've never used. Tried using that one for a bit and no dice.

Update: changed batteries in both remotes, trickle charger the car battery, but still having the alarm go off only when raining. I used bimmerlink for error codes and the parking brake keeps coming up as a temperature sensor short circuit.

Took it to my local indy shop and was able to diagnose the issue. it was the sensor inside the bumper cover that was faulty. changed it out and programed it to the car, everything's all good!
