powerstop z23 kit

only have been riding on them for a day and the car stops soon much easier than stock. No spirited driving done yet.

I put these on a Lexus, big difference, just got the kit below on Amazon $432, great price. Going with a blue caliper paint when I install.

Supermerkin, how do you like them?

Same on my Lexus GS, but I don't recall noticing the hot improvement, is it significant?

I can definitely tell a difference when they're warm versus when I'm just starting to drive

Put mine in last weekend, I don't notice a significant difference cold to hot, I don't drive hard until engine temp is normal. Did you have an issue in the break-in procedure? They feel smooth and strong, great upgrade value.

On the back of the caliper there at two torq screws that separate the electric brake motor. Once separated there is a disc with a hex in the center, hand screw that in until it stops, then retract the piston, and reassemble. There is a write up on a thread here somewhere. Real simple 5-10 minutes. The hardest thing was the front caliper springs, there must be a trick for them.

Do you have to reverse the counter clockwise turns on the hex bolt after you compress the piston or does it just go back on as it is?

No, the car readjusts on it's own.

I’ve got dozens of these kits on rock auto for various customers. Often times lately though I’ve been getting a lot of vibration from the front rotors, But they are always quick to send a new warranty set
