Did you not replace the dual mass flywheel?

The clutch and the flywheel should be done together. My DMF at the time seemed fined and that was a mistake. Had I done both it probably would of been ok, maybe. The stock DMF is probably good for mid 400's wtq but don't quote me on that. At one point i was sending 500wtq to the stock DMF. I put in the 550 clutch and that worked for about 6 months without issue then came the weird metal sounds. Every now and then it has a weird hesitation almost like knock prevention but without codes. I already know the DMF is giving up. So now I'll just go with spec 3+, steel SMF and raise the idle to 7-900. That's a Speedlogic recommendation

I dropped the ball today and bought the stage 2 and wagner fmic for my 2011 535i xdrive.
I wonder if I should keep jb4 or get mhd tune... im only looking to use 93oct. Any suggestions? I know I need that darn inlet but it got to wait lol, hopefully it is easy to install afterwards? |

There is nothing wrong with JB4 if used properly, I have been using it with a BM3 flash and it has worked very well.

I think I am going MHD and going to reach out to Ken from WedgePerformance for flash tune.
But I think I am going to run JB4 on map2 until summer. I have a shop near me with AWD Mustang Dyno, so I'll dyno it there once the turbo is installed. |

I think its a hit or miss. 3 other locals and I all blew our DME mosfets with JB4. I know there was a Bavarian post about a customer in the same boat. On the flipside i have friends that run it on there M5s with no issues.

I plan on removing mine. In my experience, I feel they lack support and depend on another forum user to help answer your questions. Plus just not smooth delivery in power at all. Turn off JB4 and car is smooth as butter. I am getting my ECU updated and plan on yanking JB4 out then and flash with MHD.
