Status info BMWNA is giving out is not correct
CA words from an email on May 1, 2010.....
Quote...."I just wanted to keep you informed on the status of your new BMW 535i. Your car was placed on the ship April 29th and has an ETA Port Brunswick GA May 11th. After its arrival in the US it still will go through many steps before its arrival at our center. There is currently not a posted ETA to Wichita Falls but I will let you know when it is posted. " end quote I started calling the BMWNA info line and for the last 2 weeks they said the car was enroute confirming what the CA had said. I figured by today there should be a change of status so I call BMWNA and they said the car was " at the port awaiting a shipping vessle". Say what! I then call and talked to a "live" customer service rep and she said BMWNA can only track a car as far as the port of departure and that was all. I half joking said "Did they turn the ship around and off load it". That was too much for her to comprehend. Can anyone shed some light on this mess? Heard from my CA today.....quote.. "I do have a confirmation of arrival at the processing center in Brunswick GA May 13th at 12:00 AM ".
BMWNA automated line still says it is awaiting a shipping vessel. Lesson learned: your CA has the latest info. |

Same story here. Yesterday my CA said my car was at the VPC in NJ. The BMWNA automated line says awaiting a shipping vessel. Huh?...
