X-drive and aftermarket rims
I have these 20inch rims that I would like to put on my xdrive f10. They are all 8.5 inches wide. My question is would the xdrive system get damaged or thrown off if the tires are all the same size, however with different tread depth remaining? Two tires had to be replaced and have more rubber than the other two. Thanks

Tire depth is not enough to throw off the AWD system. A rule of thumb is no more than 1% rolling diameter difference but you could technically have more of a difference than that. What wheels are you installing?

Okay thanks for the reply. I'm actually throwing on these universal rims I had on my e60. Just waiting for them to finish being powdercoated to get rid of the chrome.

If the E60 is non x drive and they are going on a F10 they most likely will not fit. The E60 ran low offsets.

Just wondering why that's important?
