Hello BMW Enthusiasts,

I’ve serviced my 2011 bmw 528i for the vanos recall mid of august in DFW area. Dealer took a week to fix the issue. The report says the bolt is found broken in the oil pan and they fixed it with as per the instructions from bmw.

After 2nd week, I’ve started noticing engine shaking and finally today it hot worse and the drive train malfunction warning popped up on the screen. The performance was cut down and the engine is shaking pretty badly. I’ve scheduled service with dealer and should have an answer tomorrow EOD.

Anyone experiencing this problem? Any suggestions on how to handle if it is a service issue?
